I'm Randy Mouri and this blog is about my quest to be an official finisher in the Race Across AMerica (RAAM), the toughest endurance race in the world. It's over and I became an official solo finisher in 11 days, 1 hour and 13 minutes! We continue to raise money and awareness on behalf of Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia (Habitat NoVa). If you would like to make a donation to Habitat NoVa, please visit my page on Habitat’s site. Endless thanks to our sponsors and all the folks that have made such generous contributions. Team Mouri would not have been able to travel so comfortably, which certainly may have changed the outcome of the race.

Randy I had a bike ride in western Maryland today and tried to wait for you in Hancock. I found the time station at the post office but saw no riders pass through in the hour or so I waited. So I got pie at Weaver's and called it a day. Sorry to miss you, you are predicted to pass through around 9 pm at this point. Keep on riding strong! I hope you found a nice surprise in Cumberland.

Randy, the supermarkahto is in Monaco (Muh knock' oh); but you, my friend, are in Maryland. Woo Hoo!!!

You must be pretty close to your wrestling weight now, which means you are in fighting shape--beat those hills and bring it home, Stud.

We are here; you are there; Dave's not wearing underwear;

Soon you will finish your quest; then you'll get some rest; but you will always be the best;

We'll be there at the end; on this you can depend; you are our hero and friend;
