I'm Randy Mouri and this blog is about my quest to be an official finisher in the Race Across AMerica (RAAM), the toughest endurance race in the world. It's over and I became an official solo finisher in 11 days, 1 hour and 13 minutes! We continue to raise money and awareness on behalf of Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia (Habitat NoVa). If you would like to make a donation to Habitat NoVa, please visit my page on Habitat’s site. Endless thanks to our sponsors and all the folks that have made such generous contributions. Team Mouri would not have been able to travel so comfortably, which certainly may have changed the outcome of the race.

Randy -- Remember that ride with you and Andrea riding the toys? You had the same smile as you do wolfing down the ice cream.
It's great to see all your good energy, buddy! Keep on cranking -- Annapolis is just around the corner!
Go, Randy, Go!
Best, Greg

Randy--

You're making it look like a picnic! And that's the smile of a man with the finish line, not just a tub of ice cream, in his sights. Keep that great energy going!

Love the pics. (Let's see one of the crew chief next time.)

Going to sleep now. Will check on you first thing in the morning.

Stay safe, all of you.

You look fabulous... simply Fabulous!

Though do you think you can afford all those ice cream calories. What do you think you are? A young boy who rides his bike all day.

Proud of you out there.
Ride Strong, Be Safe... and Enjoy.

Pretty Wimpy bowl of ice cream...Please tell me that's number 1 of 5! And where the heck are the cocoa puffs, chocolate sauce and whip cream? Don't tell me...Troy ate them!

We're all talking about the RAAM and thinking of you in class today, Randy! Keep up the great work - almost there. Then we can celebrate with a group breakfast when you have rested for a day or two :-).

Be safe, All!

Enjoying Randy, the Italian Zamboni, and the iRON man f/New Zealand leapfrogging eachother on the leaderboard. Great cast of characters battling for that last podium spot! My money is on Randy. Plenty of time left to take second as well. Allez Allez!

Rando!

Way to go! You are riding so fast I can barely keep up with you on the computer - another state cycled through. Hope you can savor (through the discomfort) the race for which you've worked trained so hard! It'll be over in a blink!

Hey Randy....it's me again checking in to say hello to you and your great supporting crew. Although I think i only know one of the crew members (Susie), I certainly want to thank them all for the great job they have done and are doing to get you and your bike across this very wide country. As you ride from TS to TS you are obviously getting closer to the finish and before you realize it you will be in MD. Yeah, i know, you already know that! One other thing, don't ever ask me to ride with you again! My little 30 mile rides don't even make a sound in the bucket!!

Ok, so let's make him happier. There's a little something to bump your site thermometer. Will do it again when I shake your hand in Annapolis.

Go Randy Go!
