I'm Randy Mouri and this blog is about my quest to be an official finisher in the Race Across AMerica (RAAM), the toughest endurance race in the world. It's over and I became an official solo finisher in 11 days, 1 hour and 13 minutes! We continue to raise money and awareness on behalf of Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia (Habitat NoVa). If you would like to make a donation to Habitat NoVa, please visit my page on Habitat’s site. Endless thanks to our sponsors and all the folks that have made such generous contributions. Team Mouri would not have been able to travel so comfortably, which certainly may have changed the outcome of the race.

High point - literally

Randy got to the top of Wolf Creek Pass just after midnight. Randy stopped and took a nap at near the crest of the cold (36 degrees) pass before doing the chilly (40s) and very fast descent.

Addendum: Found a site which has a lot of info on US 160 that Randy is riding.

Proud of you Randy. Wolf Creek pass was actually my lowest point on the Elite.... It got all better from there.

After you get over Cuchara Pass your legs will begin to jump into action. You will feel like your flying down the road... a young boy reaching out to his dreams... this is yours, go get it.

Go Randy... Go.

Randy, keep cranking out those miles. Annapolis is getting closer! Know that your many friends are glued to the site rooting for you. Draw in all their positive energy and let it pull you East to the finish line. See you soon in Annapolis!

Crew: Thanks for the US 160 link. Great photos that gave me a much better idea of the territory Randy is covering.

With Wolf Creek Pass done with, you are over the big hump, keep it going. You know many of these roads from last year, eat 'em up!
