I'm Randy Mouri and this blog is about my quest to be an official finisher in the Race Across AMerica (RAAM), the toughest endurance race in the world. It's over and I became an official solo finisher in 11 days, 1 hour and 13 minutes! We continue to raise money and awareness on behalf of Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia (Habitat NoVa). If you would like to make a donation to Habitat NoVa, please visit my page on Habitat’s site. Endless thanks to our sponsors and all the folks that have made such generous contributions. Team Mouri would not have been able to travel so comfortably, which certainly may have changed the outcome of the race.

While folks are waiting for me to post my story, there were a number of great photographers out there that were taking pictures and a few magazines that wanted to publish a story on me.  These are all listed below.  I hope you enjoy the articles and the photos.

I love that photo as well. There were several taken, but that particular one was taken by Chris Lane. He supplied us with a bunch of great ones. Hope to see you soon. Susie had a great visit. Miss you!

Randy! Been feeling nostalgic lately and ran across a DLI alumni site on Facebook. Made me think of you and when I took a look, I ran across this blog! Congratulations, buddy! Look me up and tell me how life has treated you!

Hi! Are you still cycling :) All the best, Oskari

Yes Oskari, I am. I'm just not riding any major distances at the moment. Everything is under 100 miles. I've been starting to work on my running form, as I would like to race Badwater in 2013. It's 135 mile run through Death Valley with close to 10,000 feet of elevation gain. We'll see how it goes, but my riding mileage will drop substantially.

Stay tuned as I will post a quick story on my assessment of RAAM...soon (I know, I keep saying that).

All the best to you.
